Theme : The Wonders of Kuala Lumpur – Snap the Heritage Trail Contest
Date : 18th October 2009 (Sunday)
Time : 8.00am – 7.00pm
Flag Off : 9am-Masjid Jamek Ending: 3.30pm-The Heritage Station Hotel Kuala Lumpur
Target : 200 -250 pax
Fees: RM 10 (fees including printing of 10pcs of photos with FujiFilm FDK)
Prizes:
Grand Prize: RM 3,000.00 + FujiFilm Finepix F70 digital camera worth RM 1099.00
3 x Special Prizes: RM 1,000.00 + FujiFilm Finepix A100 digital camera worth RM 499.00

The 5 easy steps for a chance to be a winner
Step 1: Fill in the registration form and submit to Photo Creator Publication before 30th September 2009.
Step 2: Report at the registration counter before 8.30am on 18th Oct 09 at our flag-off point beside the Masjid Jamek LRT station.
Step 3: After flag off, enjoy your walk along the Heritage Trails and snap the photos of the buildings and lifestyle of the heritage of Kuala Lumpur.
Step 4: Submit a series of 10 photo prints that could represent Historic Area of Kuala Lumpur before 5.45pm at The Heritage Station Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Step 5: Take home a fabulous prize if you are one of the WINNERS!

‘國慶’結束，‘喜怒哀樂’登場
新的常月攝影比賽（2009年9月6日－2009年10月5日）主題為‘喜怒哀樂’，歡迎會員踴躍參加。

攝協發文告針對《南洋商報》攝影記者陳泗禕在採訪時遭警方粗暴對待
內容大致如下：
（吉隆坡2日訊）馬來西亞華裔攝影記者協會（MCPA）今日嚴厲譴責警方，對《南洋商報》攝影記者陳泗禕採訪霹 靂州民聯議員前往州議會大廈時作出粗暴行為，深表遺憾。
攝協今日發表文告說，攝影記者進行採訪工作時都有配戴證件，
攝協認為陳泗禕只是在執行工作職責，不應該受到不尊重的對待，
對於陳泗禕的遭遇，攝協非常關注，同時要求警方正視有關事件，
《南洋商报》摄影记者陈泗禕被警方粗魯逮捕
《南洋商报》摄影记者陈泗禕被指推挤，而遭警员压倒在地，怡保副警区主任依布拉欣还朝其头部踢了一脚。周边警员见状，赶紧将他拉开。警方随即将陈泗禕押上警车。
